Lowering kit for Triumph Speed Triple 1050 for year models 2011 to 2015. Lowers the seat height by dropping the rear suspension by 1.6″ inches. Replace the standard suspension linkage brackets with the new lowering brackets in the kit. This kit requires that the front forks are lowered by sliding the front fork legs upwards in the triple clamps. How to install the kit and how to lower the front forks is described in the installation instructions that comes with the kit. Excellent aftermarket accessory for nor so tall owners of the Speed Triple 1050. If you ever have wished that you would reach the ground with both feet flat this kit will make it happen. Manufactured in roll forged steel. Stronger than the standard suspension brackets the kit is engineered and dimensioned to last the lifetime of your Speed Triple 1050.
Lowering the suspension will improve high speed stability and improve rear wheel grip. Drag racing bikes are lowered as this gives a quicker start off the line. Short riders will feel more confident when they can reach the ground with both feet, the lowered center of gravity also makes it easier to balance the bike when stopping in the red lights.
